I was digging her idea of alternate universe zombie version of the couple in Monica's apartment from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. with elements of their life incorporated into it. I think it comes with the end of the year, when we near the end of any interval in life it is natural to review what had happened the patterns that emerge and how we interpret ourselves into that equation, So whether it be a relationship, or how this year politically has been it feels like a giant robot has snuck into my holidays and started lopping off limbs. 'I am the Law!' Me and my brother fucking Loved that movie as kids! Rented it all the time from the local video 99 rater R but still hooked it to and 8-6 year old and since then I have loved the Dredd. and for Police states and totalitarian like rule , 'I Am The LAW !!" Seems to be the tagline for Police departments over the world in 2016. The BlackLivesMatter movement in the USA bringing to light that extreme prejudice that still exists . From the massacres in Philippines, The victims in France, Germany, and all over Europe this kind of bloodshed is becoming so rampant its becoming commonplace among the news. Violence is disgusting (outside of pure surviving) , these deaths all all because petty humans cannot put their ego's aside. Judge Dredd has always been a great character to use in touching on social issues about force and policing, the militerization of the State, and so many other issues, I feel like the character is needed again now.
